Rhumba is our feisty little devil girl. She
turned our home upside down on February 1, 1998 and has continued to "stir
it up" ever since. Of course, we wouldn't have it any other
way. We had hopes that Rhumba would earn her conformation title but we
have not been in the show ring much. She did take a 4th place in the sweeps
class and a 2nd place in the regular puppy bitch 6-9 month class at the BCOSW
Specialty in 1998! Next we tried her out on the coursing field. Rhumba
loves to run and hunt but she seems more interested in hunting real rabbits than
the little plastic bag we call the "bunny." She earned her
Junior Courser title and went on to compete in several ASFA field trials.
Rhumba was a speed demon on the field when she was focused but more often than
not, she got bored and distracted on the field and would bother other dogs or
simply stop running. She earned all her placements and 58 pts toward her
ASFA FCH title but alas, Rhumba's coursing career is over. This little
girl definitely has her own agenda! She is an absolute doll. She
loves eveyone she meets, greeting people with a million and one tail wags
and rolling on her back and hiding her face in her paws. There is
not a heart Rhumba hasn't captured. Oh, and did I mention?--Rhumba has the
world's most kissable little head!

In 2000, I co-bred Rhumba with her breeder,
Cecelia Wozniak ~ Land of Woz ~ and Rhumba gave birth to 2 little Basenji girls
on December 5, 2000. Visit the Xin puppies to see more on these darling
little girls.
